It's been a while since we've been on a Bib Gourmand restaurant, and we could think of no better time to go than during Chicago's Restaurant Week.
58 on 58
Welcome to 58 on 58! Join me on a Chicago foodie journey, as I eat my way through Michelin's 2016 Bib Gourmand list while exploring the many diverse neighborhoods of Chicago. The Bib Gourmand list is a compilation of restaurants that offer affordable prices in addition to high quality food. The goals will be to tackle the list alphabetically and reach the end before 2017, while attempting to spend a maximum of $58 per meal for two people ($58 for 58 restaurants).

Introduction
Welcome to 58 on 58! Join me on a Chicago foodie journey, as I eat my way through Michelin's 2016 Bib Gourmand list for Chicago. Michelin (the tire company) is most known for its Michelin Star ratings, typically given to high-end restaurants that require you to shell out hundreds of dollars per meal, such as Alinea and Tru. The Bib Gourmand list, on the other hand, is a compilation of restaurants that offer affordable prices in addition to high quality food. In order to qualify, restaurants must have menu items priced below a maximum of $40 (the maximum is determined by local economic standards). Find the complete list here: Chicago's 2016 Bib Gourmand List.
Not only will this be a gastronomical adventure, it will also be an exploration of Chicago's diverse neighborhoods, many of which I've never visited before.
The goals will be to tackle the list alphabetically and reach the end before 2017. I'll also attempt to spend a maximum of $58 per meal for two people ($58 for 58 restaurants).
